Breeding Flowerhorn With Divider.

Good day all,

I want to know that is this possible that eggs can be fertile if there is a divider between!

Male sperm can find the eggs in the water or do I need to transfer male to egg side!

Anyone done breeding with divider!
Any success story!

Yes it's possible to have them breed thru a divider. Generally as long as the male can get within a few inches of the eggs, he can fertilize em.

Never done this myself, I prefer the more natural method.

I read a guy put a notch on the bottom of the divider and used a plate. He spun it a few times while the egg laying was going on as to allow the male to do his part.

Upper are the pics.
He is very aggressive towards her.
I put the divider instant to save her.
She was in the tank with divider around past 15 days.

Sounds good but female will kill me if my hand get closer to the eggs plate. ?

Spin it on his side? Use some sort of object to reach down there

I know all about mean cichlids, have to net my Saggitae just to clean the tank.

That is what I like about cichlids. ?
This aggresive behaviour make them darlings and different from other aquarium fishes.
