Breeding Flowerhorn With Divider.

You don't need to do anything as the fish will happily breed with a glass divider.
You could lift the divider bottom with a small tile (for more water flow) if you worry but even that is not needed. Do suggest you add a flowerpot or stone if you want to rob the eggs.

I have had fish spawn through a canister filter - the female laying eggs near the output and the male fertilising the input which were on opposite sides of the tank.

Now that's what ya call determination/intelligence lol. That's just crazy how they managed to do that so perfectly. Btw what kind of fish were they? Or don't ya remember?
