First time keeping dwarfs. Ended up really liking them.

They're a bit over an inch I think. You can see the eggs under the female in the second photo.

Big cichlid keepers always seem to be surprised by the dwarves when they finally try them. Most are just as much attitude, just in smaller packages.
 
Nice man, Rams are beautiful! Still kicking myself for not picking some up when my lfs had some.
 
They're in a 10 gallon right now, might convince the girlfriend to upgrade in a bit (they're "her" fish).

Eggs should hatch soon.
 
I wish you all the luck in the eggs making it. I had several pairs that had countless drops and they would watch them, taking turns for several days and then eat them. I have read that you should take the eggs out or the other fish and the parents but I never did and it always turned out to be a major fail for me and the fish.
