My favorite vieja. Yours are looking really good. Male and a Female, too. Have they spawned? How are they doing with the BlackBelt?

I think they have been dancing around trying to spawn, the big one is 6 or 7 inches, the Blackbelt gets along she must be female

Do a water change. drain the tank down 3/4 or more, then refill with fresh water. That has been known to induce spawning. worth a try, you'll need to do it soon anyway.

Seems like if they're around 6 inches, though, they'd have spawned by now? Just a guess? Hard to predict what fish will do.

Yeah your right I think they might have eggs behind a rock I can't see em though, I bought most of my Vieja from Extreme fish & pets in Houston off of Belaire

so what other Vieja do you have? I'm surprised to hear of a LFS that sells Vieja. Very little of that out there these days.
