brine shrimp salt bad for freshwater fish??

I was just wondering if the salt from the brine shrimp will affect the quality of my freshwater tanks and the health of my fish? If this is a issue please fill me in!

The salt will do no harm, but I would rinse shop bought live brine shrimp to avoid parasite contamination. That's the problem with buying them as opposed to hatching your own - you don't know where they've been! I do the same with all live food now after I got repeated outbreaks of white spot and gill flukes/internal worms - the only suspect was the live food which I HADN'T rinsed. No outbreaks since I started rinsing....
