Hopefully my L004 pleco will eat it, if not Ill defiantly look into getting some of the mentioned Plecos.

I have two little 3" plecos at the moment. I like the gold nugget for looks, but for both looks and function, I think my blue phantom is a "harder worker". I think all plecos will eat algae, just some will do more than others.
I used a "gibby" or "highfin" pleco. I think they could eat 24/7 and still be hungry. Mine also grew fast, from 3-4 inch to 6-7 inch in a few months. They don't put up with fish giving them trouble either, they will tail slap a fish if they need too, but otherwise are mellow.
