I have this river rock that I just put into my aquarium about 5 min ago and one tiny little stream of bubbles is coming off of it. JW if this is normal oxygen escaping or something else?

I believe so, same thing happend with both my peices of driftwood.

It depends, what is the pH of your water, and did you test the rock with vinegar before putting it in your tank?

its ok. its normal when putting rocks in the tank for air to escape for a while.. its cool to watch it happen.

Mostly normal, but like above said, did you test the rock first and did you clean it?

did you get the rock from the river? and don't worry its just a porous rock
