thanks guys, im back...
I just remembered that this place existed when i googled my name and the loung thread came up... lol, i was looking for a thread i started on my car computer project...
and sorry but there has been absolutly no progress this year, its all on hold as im trying to get the zoning commity off my butt....
they came down and mesured the hole and realized that its deeper then 3' they charged my with illigaly digging a foundation without a permit and all work is stoped till next year...
it really sucks...
everything should be resulved in a few months... the guys from the city came down and looked everything over and they where very apoligetic and said that they have no chouce but to shut down all progress untill all paperwork is filed... this was due to a COMPLAINT from a concerned parent that thair kid could die??? WTF EVER???
so its too late to do anything right now...

From how it looks, it should follow the same regulations as a pool. You may need one of those crappy fences around it though.

I wish i knew who the complaint came from so that my buddy with the dump truck knows where to dump his load at 3am....

I have a little story to tell you and it almost cost me my live and my family.
I am a certified soil tester and on 06/26/06 i was buried in a hole just like the one you are sitting in with no fissures, no cracks and no standing water, nothing to indicate that the ground would cave in on me and snap my body in 2 leaving broken bones, torn ligaments and the memories of being trapped for 3 hours before they could get me out, my left leg now has a rod from my hip to my knee for life, my left shoulder had to reconstructed with wire, screws and pins and those have to stay for life, i can go on and on and the pain is for life. Also that same day 3 other men lost their lives to the same hole, and all of our families suffered. Besides, kids have a way of taking off and doing whatever they want when they want. That doesn't make them smarter than the parents, that just makes them kids. They have to learn from their mistakes, but the adults should make sure that areas under construction are sectioned off the way they are supposed to be. That way, no one gets hurt. Kids don't always pay attention to what they are doing, so there is no reason to blame the adults for it. I know, I have 5 boys.

so im a bit confused?, the hole what caved in on you, was there a cavern under it or did you fall in?...
either way right now im waiting a a permit the hearing is in a month or so, my brother is taking care of it..., gets me all worked up thinking about it...
