Yeah having the new house first without rushing is the only way we could have done it and not go insane.

Lol, a week.. It didn’t feel that fast building the 1500. But it did go fast in comparison.

Won't know the exact size until next week but so far it looks like it will be 2300 gallons. Filtration might actually change to a bead filter but I am still considering my options on that. And glass will be replaced with acrylic windows this time because 3 pieces of acrylic will be cheaper than one piece of glass for the new tank.

And yeah it will be on here.. So far it looks like I might be starting the work on the 23rd of this month.

Sadly, this tank will be demolished in a few months. :(

listing the house for sale after the new 2600 gallon tank is done and the 1500 will need to be removed prior to sale.

I will document the sad event.

I will also have a 3/4" thick 10'x3'x piece of starfire glass for sale afterwards so if you know of anyone looking for a giant section of glass let me know. Will sell it cheap if needed.

So tank started leaking 2 days ago. About 10-15 gallons a day. Wasn't going to fix it since I am taking it down in a few months.

Drained it half way this morning to try to re-seal the bulkhead (Thinking that is where the leak was) since that gave me some trouble in the beginning.

After draining the tank some I looked over near the corner and I see this

Looks like the concrete backer board chipped somehow. Just glad I found it. Put some silicone in, over and all around the area, waited several hours then refilled.

Will know tomorrow if the leak has been fixed. But I am pretty sure it is.
