OK maybe a ray or two as well.. lol
A ray or TWO? :irked: By MFK standards 1500 gallons should be enough to house at least 15 rays for life..... But since you have lots of pot scrubbies, I'de just go with 20. That way when they stop growing at 15 inches you have room for 10 more.......

I like the massive Pbass idea. it's not realy a long tank but deep so a bunch of Pbass would do very well with some mid sized cats to go along with the tig.

Nice build. Do you have a job besides building this tank? lol, jk. Wish I could go as fast, but there's so many things that have to come first in my life it seems like I'll never be finished, but I'm hoping to have it up and running by the summer. Good luck on yours I'll keep an eye on it.

Sweet Design. I wish I had the room for a giant tank like this. So Cal friends do not attempt this project like this one, or else the tank will knock your house down when a magnitude 7.0 comes which is long over due. Can't wait to see it finish.

Wish I could take credit for the design.. It was originally Gators..

Update:

No pictures, but all the final pieces of concrete board are in and drying.

Next step is to order my glass and two 3" bulkheads. Then cut the holes for the bulkheads this weekend and do the rough plumbing. Then clean all the dust and crap off the floor so I can apply the pond armor sometime in the next 2 weeks.

have you thought about using pond liner at all? its easier to work with, doesn't smell, takes a fraction of the time, and is cheaper. or is it too late for that?
glad to here youre still making progress!!!

Pond Armour on order from 02/07/2009 :D

Although it would have made a killer tank with a liner :D
