Building An Indoor Pond...

dont need glue, or framework underneath. just build outside frames, screw them together, line the sides with plywood, put a piece of polystyrene on the bottom. line it with carpet then liner. simple. cheap. effective. the only real important thing is to properly insulate. it helps with heating and regulating temp.
 
You will need the .8mm because normal pond liners are 45 mil and this comes out to 30-ish. I would actually suggest a thicker liner, but I am sure you could do this if you wanted.
