Building My 15,000 Gallon Mini Mega Tank

Here is a pic taken by my son of the Cuban gar Atractosteus tristoechus in 2011.

The fish was bought at Big Al's Aquarium Services in London Ont. in June 2001 at 6" (15cm) for $50.00

It is probably a bit around 19" (48 cm) now.

Sorry I'm having trouble finding pics of the 15k in my son's group of photos he took. But I did find a nice pic (I think) of my Scleropage legendrei in the 560.

Not big, its about 20" (50 cm)

The area I live in has many stores with them so they are not uncommon. Many are a lot more beautiful than mine.

The tank is well planted with large plastic plants and has a lot of large bogwood pieces. The tank mates include 4 other fish and of course some dither guppies and rosy yellow minnows. I use a tetra 3,000 gallon canister pond filter with a 1,800 gallon an hour mag drive pump.

NO,

It's not in the 15k. It's in a 560 gallon tank. I showed its pic because I could not find any more pics my son took of the 15K when he visited.
