I've had a few but don't keep them anymore because it was either them or my Arapaima.

The first group consisted of 7.

I grew them up in the 15,000 till one swallowed a 13" black belt cichlid and choked to death on it (2000 or 2001). My friend Oliver Lucanus visited a week or 2 later and caught the other 6 (They were probably about 24" to 30") and moved them to the 52,000.

They were fine until 2004 when something hit the tank and they were among the fish that died.

Then I acquired 3 babies (3" to 8") over the next year and they grew to between 18 and 20" when they developed a really mean personality and actually attacked my Arapaima at which time (November 2007) they were caught out of the the tank and given to a friend who has an indoor pond.
