i haven't read the entire 31 pages so you or someone else may have mentioned it already, but if your doing 10,000g water changes weekly.............In the last 11 yrs you've changed around 5.7 MILLION gallons of water!!!

Remember I up until October 2005 I had 122 other tanks running also all of which required water changes.
I'm changing the rooms around reducing some of the smaller ones and will have about 70 when finished.

i bet the local authority goes APE about your water volume changes!!, dont you get worried about stuff like hose pipe bans , or water restrictions in the summer if ther eis a drought?

I live in the country so I don't use city water. I also have ponds if I ever need water.

Not for my fish tanks. I have found that the larger the tank the less maintenance required.I have in the past for building outside aviaries for my birds.

Being in the construction field, I have to ask. Are you a structural engineer? I can't even imagine the lateral load on the poured foundation walls let alone the glass. It is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
