to be honest, i wouldnt put fish in there, i wouldnt be able to afford the filtration to allow you to see the fish, i would have went right over to the exotic reptile store and bought me 2 annacondas and when they are full grown put them in that tank, now that would be something to see, but damn man how much did that cost? that is amazing, psh and i thought 1000 gallons was big. what are the particular specimens you have in there

I would rather have 50 1000 gallon tanks, personally. At least I can see what's going on in them... haha, and I thought I wasted a lot of water on my tanks o_O

It varies.

It probably averages this year around $600 a month for Electricity and about a similiar amount for natural Gas ( The highest months for electricity have been $1,200 and natural gas $900.00). Oil runs about $100 a month extra (The highest month for oil was $1,200). Food costs vary but about $250 to $350 would probably cover it.

Remember I have many other tanks including the 15,000 so it really is hard to seperate one from rest.

It was great meeting many of you at the Ohio Cichlid Association Conference in Cleveland on the weekend. It looks like everyone had a fantastic time and it was a fine tribute they made to our late friend Stuart Grant who actually came from Africa and visited and saw me and played in my tanks with Ad Konings and Tom Herman in March of2000.

It was very nice meeting you and talking with you over the weekend. Wanted to let you know that the RTC/TSN hybrid went for $90 and drew quite the crowd. I was able to come up to the front and talk about her a bit before she was auctioned off. The young guy (can't remember his name) bought her and has assured me she'll have a good home. I hope he keeps in contact....

Now I'm off to read all 90 pages of compliments fishing for photos of this tank LOL
