does anyone know of a filter that is all mechanical/biological/chemical that is in the price range of $60-$120?

if so then can you please give me a link?

and another question is if bullhead catfish are compatible with pictus catfish and striped raphael catfish? can 2 bullheads live in a 75 gallon with a pictus catfish and a striped raphael catfish, if the bullheads are about 6 inches long? and are all those catfish compatible with 1 male texas cichlid, 1 male red devil, or 2 blood parrots? what would be the best cichlid of those i mentioned to keep with the catfish?

Do not add the pictus or the raphael, they will be eaten sooner or later. I could be wrong but I think the Red Devil might kill the catfish. Also the Texas cichlid might be a problem. I have no experience with blood parrots. Also, you might have a problem with two bullheads later. They can be relentless if they want the other fish out of the tank.

I have a brown and a yellow bullhead, they are both 12 inches long. The yellow is smaller in comparison to the head and girth of the brown.

and my last question, what about those black parasites that live in northern freshwater fish? like the ones that live in sunfish and trout? if a bullhead has them will it kill the bullhead or infect the other fish in the tank? if it is infected, how do you kill the parasites?

It's called black spot disease (Neascus). It is harmless to the fish. But if a bird eats the fish then worms develop in the bird.

id like to back up the bulletproof statement. I have a 5" bullhead that got beat up bad by a jack dempsey, his whole tail got bit off and he lost an eye, needless to say he is doing great now that i moved him and his disabilities dont seem to bother him, im just hoping his tail grows back. great fish.
