Burbot (Lota lota maculosa)

I know this thread is a little old but where did you get them! Lots of people ice fish for them u here in canada. I would love to try keeping one one day

For burbot you normally need a chiller and you must accept that burbot eat the other fishes in the tank...

Burbot is for me totally unsuitable for aquarium...It is very expensive to buy a chiller for one fish...In Europe i would rather buy snakehead...

I wish I could keep natives up here, can you imagine my 450 with a burbot and maybe a couple sculpins on bottom a dolly varden in the middle and a grayling across the top

the adult burbot eat all fishes you have mentioned...

I don't know about the OP but I keep Burbot if there is interest. I currently have about 700 1 year old juvs.
