Buying first LARGE tank for 2nd floor apartment would a 150-gallon be safe?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
how about a 280 on my second floor. my house was built in 2006-7.

Hello. I am currently in the same situation. 2nd fl. And I’ve already purchased the tank. I didn’t think the weight would be an issue because I have an 80gal up for years with no issues. I put the tank on a supporting wall. I’m told to quake tape it to the wall studs. I’m in Los Angeles... the building was built in the early 90’s. Not sure if I should proceed or move ??‍♂️ Thoughts?
