I am hoping that this thread can be a guide or assistant in the quality standard for all tenecor tank.

One of the reason why I am doing this is not to bash on Tenecor. I love my setup, they have been great to me. BUT there are little things that i find on my tank that I am in a bit of a question.

I have never seen other tenecor tank so it's hard for me to compare products. I would like to encourage ALL tenecor tank owners to step up and let's compare the quality.

#1 - Epoxy Runs....from what I have gathered, it's normal. It doesn't bother me...but is it normal ?

#2 - Bubbles in between seams. I have heard it is "normal" to have a bit of bubbles. Having ZERO bubbles is impossible. is it ?

I am posting several pics out of my setup as a comparison.

AGAIN, those 2 things does NOT bother me a bit. But if it is a question of strength and integrity, then I 'd want to know before i have 600 gallons of water on the floor.

These are acrylic...not glass.

I have a 96x30x30 Tenecor tank. The only place I see runs and bubbles is at the horizontal junction between the underside of the top acrylic panel and the tops of the sides. Thankfully, all of this slop is above eye level and does not present an esthetics problem. All vertical junctions are bubble-free and have no runs or excess adhesive.

I'm curious as well as I'm too about to order a big tenecor..hrm...wondering if I should now consider ATM instead of tenecor

i have two acrylic tanks, 1 120gl and 1 270gl. neither have runs or bubbles like that.

Hi everybody, I am with Tenecor Aquariums. Just feel like I may be able to se the record straight here. Bubble happen with every compnay. it is an unfortunate part of the building process. We are always working to fix the problem, though some bubbles are normal, and epoxy runs are normal. If you have any questions feel free to send them my way!

true to some extent, i have acrylic tanks with bubbles in the seams and no problems yet. but with the horror stories ive heard of your customer service, i would never consider dealing with you guys. and these are stories ive read online, and been told on a first-hand basis. seems like you guys pull the classic bait-n-switch. once you got your money, you turn your back completely.

Really not what we are going for. we are always attempting to provide the best customer support we can, but in the end, we are human. Crazy Right? If someone ever has a problem with a salesman of ours, just give our main line a ring and tell someone. We are open to suggestions and are here for YOU, the customer. We aren't evil, we promise. :D
