I have a 75 gallon community tank with Discus, Angelfish, Eartheaters, polypterus, datnoid, synodontis, corydoras, kuhli loaches, peacock eels, a black ghost knife, and a boesemani rainbowfish.
I do massive water changes and it's got quite a few live plants.
My 2 discus seem to be male and female and have exhibited some mating behavior
Would it be cruel to keep them in a 29 and try my hand at breeding them? Or is that standard? I have an empty planted cycled 29 gallon tall aquarium.
fyi 29 gallons is 110 liters.
Would I be better off trying to breed the angelfish? They have laid eggs a few times and I always remove the eggs but I never do a good enough job of taking care of the babies and they die.
