I want to buy a rope fish, my tank size is 33 Gallons and I have already 9 plecos in the tank with one honey guarami.

I saw the rope fish in the store, and it is beautiful. I was also told that it is a peaceful fish. Can I put this rope fish with my plecos? or my tank is small for this?

Unfortunately a 33 gallon aquarium is too small for a Ropefish and Pleco are known to attach and suck the slimecoat off Polypterus.

Rope fish can get to 15 inches. It is recommended that they be housed in a minimum of 55 gallons adding 15 gallons for each additional rope. I have seen them live peacefully in tanks with plecos. Although they were in a huge tank.
