Can i Stick Color Gel Sheet on my Aquarium Light

Brick gave me a sideways eye while I took the pics. The plant to his right used to be a 21 inch bush...he's ripped out all of the stems except two. You see the bottom of the plant now looks like a stump with trailers. He's framed his pit with boulders. Look carefully and you see the snoot of Boss the bp.

FINWIN this looks amazing, Since i live in Dubai we do not have much options here.. And i am sure to find this Cling Wrap its going to be a big task for me lol.
