I know pacus aren’t piranhas and have a peaceful nature and they are herbivores or omnivores in the wild but their human like teeth can be nippy in behavior like the oscar or other cichlids and when this time comes that I need to sell my fish cause that if will outgrow my 500 gal pond or something like that I will keep pacus and red tail and shovelnose catfish together if you think the compatibility will work on your ideas and I will rather use or buy very big fish including the baby gator gar or the baby giant paroon shark cat. cause its very hard to manage and it might eat the other tank mates that I want and I know paroon sharks can grow larger than red tails much around 8 feet in length if I am mistaken thats all thanks.
