I have deffinatly heard good things about the Kappas. I am not a huge infinity man though. IDK why though. They sound great and everything and no doubt they are top of the line but IDK I just can never get my thick head around that fact.
Yep, that what I put in my Jeep's doors, 6 1/2" Infinity Kappa's Componets in the front, 2 ways in the back. I've got 2 Soundstream amps and a pair of Soundstream SPL 12's in a ported "coffin" in the trunk.
For 2 subs you will not need a capacitor or extra battery, unless you plan on running it with the car off for like Sound Competitions. Other than that nor extra battery.
Oh yea I deffinatly plan on doing that asap. As soon as I get all my stereo paid off that will be next. Then all boston speakers and another boston amp. Thanks for the compliments guys
What kind of car will this be going in. Also what car does your cousin have. I would go into sound comps with 2 rockford fosgate entry level subs and would smoke the comp. It all depends on how its set up. You could spend the most money and if its not set up right, the kid down the street who spent $200 on his system will spank you. Just my 2 cents
Install is everything. Name brand means nothing. There are VERY few companies left that don't use build houses. Most use build houses so it's easy to find "sister" amps and speakers. Same thing with cosmetic differences.
I can try to find the link for some Kraco 6x9s doing over well over 160db if you guys want proof that install and knowing what you're doing with it means everything. You give the right person even kraco 6x9s and they can make them louder than most people's stereos will EVER be.
