I’ve heard its been used on some expensive custom cars as well, just not sure if its true or not, since as mentioned, it seems like something useful for anyone wanting to commit a crime but probably little else...

What did you think I meant when I said that? Not like rob a bank but more like build a house to my own specific designs and paint every wall vantablack. If the cops ever come for me then I can hide out in my house where they keep running around in circles.

Who said it was a normal house for living? I was thinking more along the lines of a really big shed or just a house sized building. It'll be a maze that unless you already know the layout you won't be able to find what or who you're looking for.

Interesting, my thoughts are that it would be a huge potential liability for any car manufacturer that used it, and secondly, most jurisdictions in North America will ban the use of it on all non-military vehicles.

I was just wondering if it'd be any good as a tank background...

I do not see it working on a car, matte/flat is not smooth, can not see getting the bird poop or anything else cleaning off easy, if you clear coot it would that just make a very black shiny defeating the purpose?
