The species pimelodus blochii. A small species of pimelodid that only gets to about maybe a foot long as a mature adult. I had a hybrid between this species and a tsn.

those are some nice limas. Mine are getting up there. The biggest one I own is around 13". Hoping to have him over the 15" in the next few months. Great pics

Looking good, your planiceps is showing a nice white stripe and looks to start the color change a bit already, mines still in its juvenile colors right now but the stripe is becoming more dominant. ~Trent
he's 24" already and only about 4" wide lol. He'll be going into a pond of his own until I feel he's thick enough to go in with the hybrid.
