Can't wait for this! Do people typically hang around the hotel after hours or are we gonna paint the town red?

I plan to attend the Sunday morning market place, and may be some of the speaker events on Saturday. I was there last year and like the selection. The market place is different from auction as you don't have to wait all day to get your fish.

Not only do people hang around, we have a hospitality room at the hotel with free beer, sodas, snacks, etc.

Saturday night's schedule starts with the award ceremony, where we will announce the winners of the aquarium beautiful competition, give out the raffle prizes and provide free drinks, wings and other food... There's a break for dinner (and/or more drinking)... then a GREAT speaker (Chris Biggs "The Mad Aquarist")...then the Saturday Night Rare Fish Auction (which will last probably 90 minutes or so)...then the hospitality room opens until...you get up for Dave's presentation on Sunday AM...and the Marketplace (Swap Meet).

All of the speakers will be staying at the hotel as well...looking forward to hanging out with Dave especially!

It's truly a weekend of fish, friends and fun...and we'll raise lots of money for CCA (a true not for profit club), charity (we'll donate a bunch of proceeds to the Babes in the Cichlid Hobby for conservation and research) and kids (we're teaching a bunch of kids to be aquarists and helping them set up their tanks).
