he tiger shovelnose catfish is 5' in length and STILL growing(all of you should re-consider that little catfish you think can fit in your big 500gallon longterm, you have plenty of other fish to choose from)
but TLkmDN since you have it in a pond, yours will quickly catch up to ccdoido's!

he uses a pool filter and i believe it's 5,500 gallons

oh he does water changes pretty normaly; just drains the water to sewer system and fills it back up with faucet water since it is clean. probably takes over 6hours just for FILLING UP 50%
