I don't believe in tanning gold Aros. You don't get the natural core color of the fish when you tan gold Aros. Besides that like @Hendre mentioned there can be significant problems such as loss of appetite, slanting swimming posture etc.

I think he means making sure the tag in the fish actually correspond to the cert.

Hi I got almost the same cert but different tag, and year, man Im just trying to enjoy and let it go, I don't want to buy a scanner acutely, Im just afraid to ruin my excitement about it just got two golden Arowana's , three days ago, i mean what if there's no chip lol, I love the fish it looks stunning baby golden Arowana, but I kinda feel you, I don't know sometimes I let go, other times I found my self searching all over the wed lol

I don't believe in Certs. I believe in the fish itself.
If it is a Xback it will be and not just because of the cert. The cert can say anything and you might get a different fish.
