Thanks everyone, Picked her up a couple years back from a local shop here in Moncton NB, She was ~2-3" at the time. She as one of 4 i took the whole group.
lost one First night, and it didnt take long before the one pictured and another showed signs of pairing off. Shortly after choosing the preferred mate the 3rd was ripped to shreds.
The pair lasted peacefully together until the next spring one night they went into courtship which get's quite rough and she ripped her mate apart in the process.
I haven't been able to find this species anywhere other then that one time, although if i do I'll have to start small grow a pair out adding a mate now would just be seen as a large meal lol. Reported max size seems to vary but i'd say 16" would be a decent guess. Last time i managed to get a ruler close to her she was 12" on the dot, she's probably closer to 14" now and still growing.
the same with my asiatica's i had 6 specimen, one's a pair formed. ----> 2 dead brother or sisters in the tank. I tried to put a acrylic plate in between but some how, the female of my pair got to the other side and killed the last remaining. belly's ripped eye's lost it was a mess.
between the 3rd and 4th nest she attacked the male he was losing pieces of tale, his head was injured. But he found a good place to hide he lay outside the water on top of the inside filter. She was happy with the room she got and left him alone, i think he lay there about a month and a half and one day he returned to the tank and they are happely married again "i think". Now they got a lot of children again and who know's what will happen tomorow.
