The ornate was never in there. My two ornates are happily in their tank. That tank is a new one that i build up for my channa.

What species can you advice me as a cleaning crew? Do they ignore a medium sized pleco? I already put some snails in there and would also like to add a pleco.

tokyo is right, no pleco is a cleaner, and the snails wont live very long. Nearly all my channa like to eat them, except the lucia that prefer fish.
I have No plecos at all, and I have 17 tanks.

thanks for the advice. I checked temperatures. The water has around 18 degree at day and at night drops to 16. During most of the year it will be around 20 degree. but i guess in summer it could raise up for two or three months till 26 degree. my stewartii come from northern bangladesh. i get them in 10 days... i'm so excited!
