cheap way to get good closeup pics

yes i did similar, i used a pair of binoculars to take a photo of the moon<worked a treat>havent got pic anymore

also people with dSLRs may know this already, but if you mount the lens the other way around it works as macro!

If you want a cheap fish eye lens, mount a door visitor viewer (the security spy hole things) onto a spare len cap and focus manually through it.
