Cheaper/DIY Alternative to "Loc-Line"? (PICS)

I just spend a stupid amount of money on my order of "Loc-Line" to finish the returns on my 300g. Someone has to have DIY'ed something that is flexable yet holds it's shape for WAAAY cheaper than this stuff... Search yealded no results other than spraybars which I don't want.

Any ideas or pics of what you've build??? Pics of stuff I am talking about below..

That stuff is for liquid to cool things while being drilled, can't believe I didn't think of that..

I paid $71 (locally, no shipping) for:
x2 1.5" bulkhead fitting
x2 3/4" bulkhead fitting (threaded inside)
x2 loc-line threaded 2-way split.

I was pissed when I picked it up because that is way more than something I could have DIY'ed up myself. I told the LFS not to order the "arms or hoses" or whatever they are called and bought those used instead.
x4 lengths with the x4 nozzles for $20.

Lets open this thread up to see any returns you guys have done yourself. Spraybars, hoses, PVC lets see it all. Add some pics and what you paid if you know it???

Yeah I found that out after I posted it looking for cheaper stuff. Good thing I don't mind sounding like a total noob every now and then lol..

Rod- thanks for the pic, good to see ya on MFK bud my LFS has those too but they don't point down. My buddy Fallin49er uses those on his 150. Do you have those running on any of your tanks? Would you recommend them to others if you do?

Off topic, but you tank looks acrylic, Acrylic really should be supported across the whole bottom of the tank, and most manufactures recommend the pink insulation foam under them.

Not sure its much of a competitor for locline but I just heat my pvc to shape it.
