neither, chinchilas are way to skiddish and ferrets smell like crap no matter how many times you give them a bath.
Your only sopossed to give a ferret a bath around every three months. Because if you give a ferret a bath every month then your doing nothing but drying the ferrets skin out, ferrets have sent pores so about 5 hours after a bath they smell no diffrent than before. They have some produces out there that you put in their water and/or food to help the smell go down a little. plus theres an item called ferret daily spritz that helps keep it down as well.Sic_Maggot13;1830509; said:neither, chinchilas are way to skiddish and ferrets smell like crap no matter how many times you give them a bath.
This is going to sound weird, but I agree with you, I love the way ferrets smell too. I show him off, and everyone goes aw! he smells. Then I go no he doesn't, and then I stick my nose in his fur and take a big wifCTU2fan;1833341; said:I had an older ferret that I adopted and she was great. I honestly am hesitant to get another, because I would always compare it to my old ferret who I loved. A ferret to me is more like a "pet"...my ferret was more like a kitten than a rodent pet like a chinchilla. Chillas are very cute though.
And I actually like the way ferrets smellNot a ferret with a dirty soiled cage because that stinks...but a ferret kept cleanly where you smell just ferret scent rather than scent mixed with urine etc.
