this is going to turn into a poster child for the anti video game violence groups.
i can hear it now " he did it because he was exposed to to much violence in video games. yada yada" i reality this guy was screwed up in the head and probably needed to be put on medication or some kinda anti sicodic. just like thos colombine shooter.

EDIT: yeah there are. I misunderstood you and i thought you meant violent groups that were against video games
damn right. they're just graphics to the rest of you all but I was pretty pissed when I got my legit Vampire Gaze sold off for $30 by some crackhead

He was killed not so much over the sword, as much as the 7200 yuan, since in China depending of your line of work and the province you are in, that equates to anywhere from 2-4 months worth of pay for them...
Ummm... It said he offered over the cash... It was the sword and maybe trust between friends? Even the cops didn't do anything because there is no law over virtual property...
as you said, there is no law over it, so while the person who died said he'll pay, he could just as easily run off... Not unusual in China...
