How do you guys get them to be so aggro. mine is a woos I have 20 feeders in the tank and he chases half heartely.

Hi,
I am receiving 10 in my shipment tomorrow. 8", doing a asian show tank. Can't wait to get them. Yours is really nice. Putting them in 150 show tank with 2 channa ornatppinnis at 7 inches long. I am geting also celebes rainbow magurnda giant gobies at 6 inch, trying to find their scientific name. Will post pics next week! Should be an interesting mix.

I so sorry to say that your fish not Chitla lopis. It's not Chitala chitala from India too. This fish we call "Spotless CK or Spotless Chitala ornata". Spotless CK & Spotless golden CK is common fisk in Thailand now, because it can breeding, u can found it in normal CK. The dif is Chilala lopis is more darker (until can see a shiny green in black color) and
chitala lopis must have a black skin (not silver) at cheek fin (sorry I cannot explain claerly, my English not so good)
I am sure because I'm a Chilala lopis lover, now I keep 2 Chilala lopis & 2 spotless CK like your fish, it's one of the rare and expensive fish in Thailand. It can't breeding, every fish in aquarium catch from river (at least 10" up) in Kanganauburi, Surat Thani, Pattanee in Thailand. I don't know about this fish in Malaysia and Indinesia but I confirm your fish not Chilala lopis.
