You're definitely in the wrong forum. I don't see the difference feeding a Jack Dempsey as compared to a Feeder Goldfish to my Cichla. Since you're here in MFK, I am curious to know what you keep.

i see nothing wrong with feeders if they're necessary but i don't think it's cool!!! i just can't understand the fun in it. you're the same kind of people enjoying torching ants with a magnifying glass.

i keep emeralds, jags, tilapias, keyholes, some cats etc.

How do u know so much about us? Are you a shrink or something? Well, to each his own. You don't find it cool and will never understand it, so you can just leave it at that. But calling people stupid bastards isn't the right way of saying "I don't understand"

WOW! I have a 75g tank at home and pretty small cichlids-I've never seen anything like that before-my husband would love that! What kind of cichlids do you have? What kind was the predator?
