been studying these temensis a lot i am 75/100% sure i should eggs very soon..one thing i have noticed by moving stuff around in the tank to make the pair feel safe is to have cover around the site they have chosen..today i will be adding structure around their area..i will update with more info and pics soon..

Man on a mission.

nice

learned a lot today..like turned down the brightness of the lighting helps, haveing more cover def helped and siphoning poop out every night about 5g of water (30 mins after last feeding) then replace it with same temp fresher water..constantly feed a huge variety of foods..what i make for my cichla to eat my wife calls it sushi for fish lol..30% wc every 3 days i tried every temp possible from straight from the garden hose to warmer then tank water (tank temp is 84)..i refill tank with 78-80 temp water and they love it..i got a schedule down packed that i think will work..i will type it up and post it at some point today or tomorrow..but it is what i learned very important to keep as less waste in the tank as possible because once they do a pairing dance ur tank will get thrashed if u have sand gravel etc..and ur tank if not keeping waste to a min will look like fish poop soup..well time to call it a night..merry cichlamas everyone..
