I have no idea how that gourami is still alive. His fins don't look messed up though weird stuff happens I guess.
Cucumber's are mostly water. Go with zuccinni. You can grind up those worms with spirulina and a green mix add boiling water and freeze. Gradually use less worms and more greens. You can use spinach, dandelion greens, squash, romaine lettuce ect. You can also just get a seafood mix that's ready to go or get some emerald entrée it's a pretty popular frozen "green" transition food. San francisco Bay makes it.

Kale could work -my fish hate it but your fish might have a different opinion.
I also grow hornwort and water sprites. Sometimes they can grow faster than they are consumed.
