Hey guys, are there any plecos that can tolerate or actually live in coldwater? This tank has 3 fancy goldfish and my baby 7" white sturgeon and I wanna add a pleco. The tanks a 90g and the temp ranges from the high 49's during winter to low 80's during summer. Thanks guys

Not many plecos can take water that cool to my knowledge, anyway. However there are a few. Hypostomus commersonii or any of the "Common" Plecos would be my choice in this situation.

Chaetostoma live in cool mountain streams, for the ancistrus and common plecos it's more of a tolerance thing

So I did a quick google search of ancistrus and this 1 popped up. View attachment 1054897what kind is this? I really like it

Ancistrus dolichopterus "Starlight Bristlenose" the rarest and most expensive :). There was a 1" one at my LFS for $40, which was a steal for this strain. I might breed them soon once I setup an Ancistrus breeding system, or at least have one of the parents as one.
