Hi Greg:

The big 24 inch one is perfect. The smaller one was born blind as he has no eyes since he was 6 inches. The Grouper is in freshwater since he was 7 inches and is now 20 so you tell me if he is doing good, LOL. The Grouper actually had a serious accident about 3 weeks ago when he jumped out of his tank and I found him basically dead. He somehow managed to recover after 3 weeks or intensive care and only part of his tail got damaged, which is regenrating now. All that and still in freshwater though.

I do not think any pet stores in my area can handle these guys because of sheer size and power. These guys are definitely pick up or for the super expert packer and shipper.

Ivan

Awsome..... 6 to 24"....... all this in Freshwater....wow....great job Ivan....

bump for Ivan!

Thanks Ivan,

I would love to get either the 24"TSN or the Bumblebee grouper (is it possible to see pictures of either one?) I totally respect and understand the decision on shipping but if you happen to find someone down there that thinks they can do it safely I would love to know about it.

Thanks again and good luck.

Greg

Jed, come on down for the weekend. Even if you pay for the trip yourself, you would make more than enough charging people to ship all these fishes. I could have sold my collection 10 times over if I could ship, LOL.

Greg, I'll see what I can do as far as pics because it is not too easy on these guys due to the tanks they are in (TSN) and the hyperactivity (Grouper), but I will see what I can do.

Here are some pics Greg. Not the best ones but as good as it gets from me, LOL. You can see the dorsal part of the Grouper tail being damaged but that is the ONLY damage left from being out of the water for God knows how long. At least he is alive and eating like a hog.
The last pic should be the "blind" TSN just for comparison with the one that has eyes. I don't think TSN's need eyes at all based on how much the smaller TSN eats.

They look great Ivan. How big of a tank is the Bumblebee in right now? And would he get as big as a marine one? Also how long was he out of the tank for? He looks good after his adventure.

Greg

Tank is 120 gallons. No idea if he would get as big as a marine one, time will tell. Nobody knows how long he was out, just found him almost dead and dry.

Ivan
