Combine two plastic ponds?????

If you are just using regular PVC the normal PVC cement is safe after it cures.

Although I would still recommend the bridge just sayin' :)

The bridge idea is cool.....could you explain to me the concept a little more?
How would you connect it to the two ponds?

an easy alternative, you could have one higher than the other and have a nice waterfall. its not what you wanted originally, but its a good fallback option

I thought about this, but I'm really set on combining the two for more space for the fish. If all else fails, I will put one higher than the other and just keep fish in both of them separately.

Depending on the size of the fish you can use a bulk head on each pond and connect with pvc. Im not sure what the largest bulk head is you can get but here is a link with a pick of a 2 in. This will make a water tight seal with no silicone needed.

problem solved.....I bought a 7x10 liner and am going to use one of the ponds to build a waterfall :)

yeah! you could use the one that flows back into the main pond with the waterfall as your filtration. think giant sump
