Was wondering if some people could contribute to a list of all (or at least all well-known) aquatic or semi-aquatic reptiles available in the pet trade. Please include scientific name, common name, a picture, and as much info as possible, including all personal experience you have with the animal. Now, obviously it's important to get a good definition of what an aquatic or semi-aquatic reptile is. For our purposes, let's say anything that requires a pool of water for more than drinking or the occasional soak - anything that would actually utilize a decent sized pool of water relatively frequently.

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for! If you could also link to a picture in your post, that would be even better.

The reason I'm wanting to put this together is I figure since this is mainly a fish site, that more people might be interested in keeping something that was closer to a more aquatic setup, like what they're used to. I know that's why I'm interested in aquatic reptiles at least.

Erpeton tentaculum
Acrochordus granulatus
Cerberus rhynchops
