converting cubic inches to gallons?

Yeah, but I'm pretty good at geometry, so the 231 is what I was needing. I can calculate the cubic inches without TOO much trouble. now it's just deciding on the final shape. i'm thinking of a tilde shape. like ~ if looked on from above. or possible a bowfront, but on the sides and back making "protrusions" like small 4" fishbowls extending from the side for simulated "caves". Thought that might give some of the fish a "hidey-hole"... Several months left, so no big rush (yet), but I'll definitely keep you guys posted.
