I owned 1 about 3 yrs ago a big ol nasty mean S.O.B. had a huge hump had to get rid of him,he wanted my 55 gal to hisself and i considered that a waste of tank space.He had to be at least a couple yrs old,i would bet closer to 3 yrs.I didnt have a digi cam then sorry.
I had a male Convict several years ago that grew a modest Nauchal Hump. He was probably 3-4 years old.
If you do a search on here there's a few threads about cons and some have pretty good sized Nauchal Humps.
heres mine hes small but he has a bump, sorry for the bad quality pix and the algae on the glass i just snapped it real quick.
