Well there is something you can do. Just volunteer at a aquarium and work on preservation programs with them and educating the public why this is wrong. I was watching anythony bourdaines show today and he was eating shark head and shark fin soup. Most people don't know its wrong. I'm trying to start a program in Fresno to educate kids about sharks.

I think that restaurant would have made alot of money off my that night. Note the third pic that does not look like a Coral Cat. There do not seem to be any other Atelomycterus sp in the region either. Maybe a Atelomycterus baliensis straggler? or is it just me? haha

Wait how would they have made money off of you? Even if you were to have bought the sharks all you would have done is support them even more and they would just go out and catch more. What really needs to be done is have stricter penalties and enforce the laws that protect them. Otherwise buying the sharks won't do anything except support them. Ya you would be rescuing a bunch of sharks but in exchange you are providing money for them to go catch even more.

I take you mean the last photo.

Since that one does look a bit different. As for being a Bali Catshark - maybe. But it's still a bit hard to tell.
