Crayfish Spawns!!!!!!!!!!!

good that you get feeder crayfish,
here we dont even get to see a crayfish
anyway congrats on the spawn
 
im alittle late on the finding this article. congrats on the spawn but i figured id share some of my experiences with the eggs. ive had a one of the blue crayfish for over a year now and twice it has produced eggs under its tail. the first time nothin happened and we'll see what comes out of this second batch. as i just noticed it last week. its the only crawfish so there is no male to fertilize it. its bizarre.

I had a Blue crayfish before and did the same thing. I don't think the eggs are fertile.

I hope so tho.

i've been trying to find out how to sex them.

One thing i noticed about crayfish. IMO

They breed when you have alot of small fish in the tank.

Might think it's an abundance of food.

I see the crayfish breed in LFS all the time.

They always have them in the Feeder Tanks too.
