Crested Geckos and leo living together???

Oh this brings me back to some bad memories from working at the CO....people like this are always "experts" when it comes to herps. Typically its their first reptile experience, or they had an iguana/ball python years back and it either escaped or died of unknown causes after it didn't grow in a year. Anyways...these types are never wrong and will get defensive the instant you say something that suggests they are wrong. Dealing with those people made me want to cry.

the biggest problem with any hobby is you always get guys who cram and truly want so bad to be like a teacher and get to a point that they feel they dont need to learn from others and they will become an authority figure in the scene somehow by keeping a lizard alive for 5 years. Then you got guys like me who got lots of hands on with lots of creatures and will always try and help others while at the same time learning still as much from other hobbyists that I can and I try to always stay humble and give the most accurate info I can find to make someones experience go better for them and their animal.I like to become smarter each day,but not so I can be a bully with it and appear to be better than anyone.Ah who am I kidding,we all know how freakin awesome I am.

thats terrible. cresteds are from more rainforst like habitat in new caldoinia (spelling is wrong i know) and leos are from deserts and scrublands in the middle east. what kind of idiot would even try to do that?!?

Wise thougths Jason;) When guys come here and ask stuff I tell them either what has worked for me or what has worked for people i know or info that I remenbar from good web sites, books, etc that I red. But Ive got a open mind and sometimes I like learn a thing each day. If you prove to me that is good for igs to eat meat in 5 minutes ill be in the bucher(but untill then I will stick with the 100% veg diet thank you very much:D) And yes I do need a kick in the posterior every now and then untill I see straith. And Im not here to tell how owesame I am (even if I am quite a peace of work:grinno:)Im here because I care about animals and if somebody can learn from mine and others past mistakes insted of comiting their own and by that the well being of some animals is inpruved then Ive acomplished my web mission:headbang2

watch this guy make like a hybrid breed between like a crested and leo lmao, and i hope he joins this forum and gets flamed, but ulitmately fixes it:P
just a quick question, besides crrested and gargoyle hybrids, are there any others?

idk i think it would be pretty cool....im no expert on herps but i think that with the anatomical similiarities and relativly neutral conditions it might work....think about it...the heat pad would keep the bottom warm and the crested mostly reside on the top/mid so it would be a bit cooler... and with neutral humidity i dont really see a huge deal here....maybe you guys should think outside the box.....and let the flaming begin..

it's kinda cool it worked but i would have never been crazy enough to try it
