I've tried offering fairy shrimp, brine shrimp, mollies, pellets and tubifex worms but all were rejected in favour of bloodworms. I've had a number of these catfishes for months now. They are around 2-3 inches in length and they seem very active.
I can't seem to find a consensus on whether or not bloodworms are a nutritionally complete food. Is it common for cryptarius juveniles to only eat bloodworms? In addition, have any fishkeepers kept fishes long term with bloodworms as a staple diet?
