You don't see them for sale very often. I expect breeding shortly looking at the female. Pretty much extinct in the wild unfortunately.

Awesome fish, I agree you really can't find them Anywhere!!!!!!!!, Several years ago I was at fish auction around here and saw them (Don Conkel's stock) and before I had an opportunity to bid on them some guy attending the auction won them. I was disappointed that I did not get a chance to at least bid on them. I found out a week later that the guy that won them ended up putting them in a small tank where he loss all but one. Boy I was upset when I found that out.
 
Thanks, they're doing well and eating well. I found them randomly in a LFS I had never been to before (just stopped in for some food because my shipment won't be in till Thursday), they didn't have much else exciting for cichlids besides the myrnae, and they have about 30 of them from 2-3". I made the lady catch the exact female I wanted, it took her almost 30 minutes, but she had the best color.
